Founder and owner of Sage Aromatique, Debbie Stratis, is a Certified Aromatherapist who's been using essential oils since 1998. She first started using essential oils when looking for an alternative to toxic cleaning products and was delighted to learn how to make effective and non-toxic cleaning products that worked as well (and smelled better!) than commercial products. Debbie attended and received her aromatherapy certification from AromaEducators in Ithaca, NY. She furthered her wellness journey by completing a Certified Herbalist course from the Alternative Healing Institute and was introduced to naturopathy and the Nature's Sunshine products. She continues to study the science of Aromatherapy and recently completed a hydrosol for health and skin care certification and is in the process of obtaining a copper still to make her own hydrosols. She is a professional member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy, Alliance of International Aromatherapists, and ABMP.
